This swinging little piece has been popular on disc and in live performance.  You can listen to Brazilian saxophonist Leo Gandelman play it on his site here (MP3 format), with the OSESP.  It's not a surprise that instrumentalists who live mainly in the jazz world enjoy playing this piece with an orchestra.
