|"The Villa-Lobos Music Society Inc. is dedicated to the revitalization of the music of Heitor Villa-Lobos. Coming from the 'melting-pot' nation of Brazil and studying the music of diverse ethnic groups, Villa-Lobos synthesized them into his 'universal' style. Villa-Lobos was able to see human similarities in the diversity of the folk music which he used, rather than the differences. Thus, he was able to accomplish his goal of bringing people together in peace through his music.|

His web-page includes information on his recordings and published music, the Society and Alkamar Music Publishers. Read Alfred's essay "The One-World Style of Villa-Lobos".|
